EDIFIER Celebrates 30 Years with New Audio Launches at IFA 2026
EDIFIER is celebrating its 30th anniversary at IFA 2026 with a broad showcase of new audio products designed for everything from home listening and studio work to commuting, gaming and premium Hi-Fi.
Founded in Beijing in 1996, the brand has grown from its early multimedia speakers into a global audio company operating across personal audio, home entertainment, studio monitoring and gaming.
For IFA this year, EDIFIER is focusing on what it calls “Complete Audio Solutions for Every Listening Scenario”, with several new products making their debut in Berlin.
XR6 Professional Studio Monitor
One of the most interesting launches is the new EDIFIER XR6, a professional active studio monitor designed for accurate, reference-grade sound.
The XR6 features an integrated room acoustic calibration system combining onboard DSP with dedicated PC software, allowing the speakers to adapt more precisely to different listening environments.
It also uses a rigid aluminium enclosure, a true three-way acoustic design and high-performance drivers, with EDIFIER targeting both professional studios and home creators.
M90 Speakers and MW6T Subwoofer
For home audio, EDIFIER is also introducing the M90 Bi-Amped 2.0 Speaker alongside the MW6T Compact Powered Subwoofer.
The M90 delivers 100W RMS output and supports Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless, with HDMI eARC, USB-C, optical connectivity and Bluetooth 6.0 with LDAC.
The compact MW6T adds 210W RMS of low-frequency power through two 6.5-inch woofers, along with room acoustic compensation.
Together, the two products are designed as a flexible system for music, films, gaming and everyday home entertainment.
WH950NB Pro Headphones
EDIFIER is also expanding its wireless headphone range with the WH950NB Pro.
The new over-ear headphones combine adaptive hybrid active noise cancellation with an eight-microphone ANC system, dual dynamic drivers and spatial audio with head tracking.
They also feature a six-microphone AI calling system, Bluetooth 6.1 and up to 70 hours of battery life with ANC switched off.
STAX SPIRIT Planar Magnetic Headphones
EDIFIER is continuing to develop its premium personal audio range through the STAX SPIRIT series.
Using planar magnetic driver technology, the range is designed to provide high levels of detail, low distortion and more accurate sound reproduction, while still offering the convenience of wireless listening.
STAX SPIRIT sits alongside EDIFIER’s wider premium Hi-Fi offering, which is also being showcased at IFA alongside products from AIRPULSE and the HECATE gaming range.
30 Years of EDIFIER
Three decades after its foundation, EDIFIER now operates in more than 80 countries and regions.
Its product range covers personal audio, portable speakers, home audio, Hi-Fi, studio equipment, premium audio and gaming, with brands including STAX, HECATE and AIRPULSE forming part of the wider EDIFIER portfolio.
IFA 2026 gives the company an opportunity not only to introduce new products, but also to demonstrate just how much the EDIFIER range has expanded over the past 30 years.
From professional studio monitors to wireless headphones and compact home audio systems, the latest launches show a brand that is still looking for new ways to bring better sound into everyday life.
