I think we can already feel Christmas in the air. The festive season is getting closer, Christmas shopping is beginning, and some of my favourite brands are already unveiling their gift collections for 2026.

One of them is Horace, the French skincare and grooming brand that I absolutely love, which has introduced a new selection of Christmas gift sets available in both the US and UK.

And I have to say, the choice is impressive!

From some of Horace's most popular fragrances to its more advanced skincare products, there's plenty to choose from. Whether you're looking for a beautiful fragrance gift set or a complete skincare routine, Horace has put together some lovely combinations, all presented in attractive gift packaging.

I've been using Horace skincare for quite some time, and its Rich Face Moisturizer is still one of my absolute favourites, particularly during autumn/winter and Oud rose is one of my favourite fragrances. So I was naturally curious to see what the brand had prepared for Christmas.

After looking through the collection, I've picked four gift sets that really caught my attention. Two feature fragrances that seem perfect for the colder months, while the other two focus on skincare, including a particularly interesting set for men concerned about the visible signs of ageing.

Let's have a closer look.

1. Horace Oud Rose Fragrance and Shower Gel Gift Set — $120 / £98

Now, this is a gift set that I can genuinely recommend, because Oud Rose is my favourite fragrance from Horace, and one that has really impressed me.

I've been reviewing men's fragrances for more than 13 years, and oud has never been a note I've particularly enjoyed. I've often found oud-based fragrances too heavy, overpowering or simply difficult to wear.

But Horace Oud Rose completely changed my opinion.

From the first spray, you get a beautiful combination of geranium, rose and rosemary, followed by a richer heart of Damascus rose and patchouli. As the fragrance develops, the oud, cypriol and sandalwood bring warmth and depth without becoming overwhelming.

What makes Oud Rose so special to me is its balance. It's bold and masculine, but also elegant and surprisingly easy to wear. The rose never feels overly sweet, while the oud adds character without dominating the composition.

And the longevity is excellent. On my skin, Oud Rose lasts comfortably from morning until evening, remaining noticeable without becoming intrusive.

It's particularly beautiful during autumn and winter, although I've found it versatile enough to wear throughout the year.

For Christmas 2026, Horace has created a lovely gift set that includes:

  • Oud Rose Eau de Parfum (100ml)

  • Oud Rose Shower Gel (250ml)

Both products are presented together in a festive gift box.

I particularly like the inclusion of the matching shower gel. It's a nice way to enjoy the same fragrance as part of your daily grooming routine.

At $120 in the US or £98 in the UK, this is certainly a premium Christmas gift. But considering how much I enjoy Oud Rose, it's one of the sets that immediately caught my attention.

If you're buying for a man who appreciates sophisticated, woody fragrances, I think this would make a wonderful present.

2. Horace Vintage Vanilla Fragrance and Shower Gel Gift Set — $120 / £98

Now, if Oud Rose is one of my all-time favourites from Horace, Vintage Vanilla might just be the best fragrance the French brand has ever created.

I reviewed Vintage Vanilla when it launched , and I was genuinely impressed.

And I still think it's a fantastic choice for autumn and winter.

What makes Vintage Vanilla so special is the combination of warm spices, leather and vanilla. It opens with nutmeg, cumin and pink pepper, before moving into a heart of saffron and violet. But it's the base of vanilla, leather and labdanum that really makes this fragrance stand out.

The result is rich, warm, sophisticated and wonderfully masculine without becoming overly sweet.

And I'm not the only one who enjoys it. My wife loved it from the first spray, and I've had friends asking what fragrance I was wearing.

Performance is another strong point. During my testing, Vintage Vanilla lasted around 6–7 hours on my skin, and I could still smell it on my clothes the following day.

For Christmas 2026, Horace has created a gift set containing:

  • Vintage Vanilla Eau de Parfum (100ml)

  • Vintage Vanilla Shower Gel (250ml)

Both products come together in a festive gift box, making this a lovely present for someone who appreciates warm, distinctive fragrances.

At $120 in the US or £98 in the UK, it's a premium gift, but one I would happily recommend based on my experience with the fragrance itself.

3. Horace Complete Face Gift Set — $91 / £69

Moving away from fragrance, the Complete Face Gift Set is probably one of the most practical presents in the collection.

It includes five products designed to cover the main steps of a skincare routine:

  • Purifying Face Cleanser

  • Mattifying Face Moisturizer

  • Under-Eye Moisturizer

  • Gentle Face Scrub

  • Purifying Face Mask

Everything comes together in a gift bag, making it a convenient present for someone who wants to spend a little more time looking after his skin.

What I particularly like about this set is that it provides an actual skincare routine rather than a random collection of products.

The cleanser and moisturizer can be used daily, while the scrub and mask are intended for occasional use. The eye cream adds a little extra attention to an area that many men start thinking about as they get older.

At $91 in the US or £69 in the UK, the Complete Face Gift Set looks like a thoughtful introduction to a more comprehensive men's skincare routine.

4. Horace Firm Skin Gift Set — $98 / £71

This is probably the gift set that feels most relevant to many of my readers.

As a man in my 50s, I've become increasingly interested in skincare products that help maintain hydration, improve the appearance of my skin and address fine lines without promising unrealistic results.

The Horace Firm Skin Gift Set includes four products:

  • Purifying Face Cleanser

  • Bio-Retinol + Argireline Peptide Serum

  • Under-Eye Moisturizer

  • Face Firming Gel

It's a more targeted routine than the Complete Face Gift Set, with particular attention given to the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and loss of firmness.

The Bio-Retinol + Argireline Peptide Serum is especially interesting. Horace positions it as a product designed to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve the look of ageing skin.

The Face Firming Gel and eye moisturizer complete the routine, while the cleanser provides a straightforward starting point.

What appeals to me here is that the products are selected for a specific purpose.

For a man in his 40s, 50s or beyond who has started taking his skincare more seriously, this looks like a particularly relevant Christmas gift.

Price: $98 in the US / £71 in the UK.

Final Thoughts

I think Horace has put together a lovely collection of Christmas gift sets this year, with something for men who enjoy a good fragrance or want to take better care of their skin.

I'm particularly pleased to see Oud Rose and Vintage Vanilla included, as they're two fragrances I've genuinely loved wearing. And for men in their 40s and 50s, the Complete Face and Firm Skin sets offer some interesting skincare options.

What I appreciate most is that these are products I'd be happy to give as gifts myself. The presentation looks beautiful, and based on my experience with Horace, I have a lot of confidence in the brand.

With Christmas just around the corner, these four gift sets are certainly worth adding to your shopping list.
