Top 5 Best Wireless Speakers for under £50

Music is very important in my life. I am a big fan of Google Play Music, Spotify, Youtube, TuneIN etc... As you know the speaker quality of  a smartphone is not that great to enjoy a great tune. The good news is that thanks to a Wireless Speaker you can stream the music from your phone directly to your portable speaker. Connection is made by Bluetooth and if your smartphone is NFC compatible it is even easier to connect to a wireless speaker. In any electronic store, supermarket, department store and online you have access to hundreds of speakers. Let's be honest, a lot of them have a very poor sound quality and you're better off with your smartphone. So here is my list of the 5 best Wireless Speakers for less than £50:

It’s time to enjoy the music.

Number 5: HDMX JAM Touch Bluetooth/Wireless Speaker £29.99 @ Zavvi

Don’t let the price fool you, because this JAM Bluetooth Speaker will give you a lot of sound for less than £30! Don’t expect an extremely powerful sound to entertain the biggest party of your life but the HDMX Jam Touch is more than adequate for listening to your favourite tunes in the comfort of your home.

The sound quality is good but it might distort at maximum volume. This is an affordable wireless speaker and an option to consider. £29.99 @ Zavvi
+: Cheap, good sound quality, integrated speaker phone.
-: Battery lasts less than 6 hours. Not the most stylish Bluetooth speaker.

Number 4: Trust Jukebar from £27

This Trust Wireless Speaker Jukebar is excellent. It has a great design, long battery life (up to 17 hours), bluetooth with 10m range and comes in 3 vibrant colours. The sound quality is good, but as with other speakers it can distort at maximum volume. It has mic functions, which is helpful to answer a phone call when you are listening to your favourite tune! The build quality is good too. However, the Trust Wireless Speaker doesn't reach the Top 3 because the black and red (best colours in my opinion) cost around £45 which is not the best value for money. If you like the vibrant purple, go for it and you won't be disappointed, you can get it on Amazon for less than £27

Number 3: Nokia MD-12 Bluetooth Speakers from £22

This is probably one of the best portable bluetooth speakers on the market. The Nokia MD-12 is not new, but it still rocks an amazing sound. Last  year I wrote a full review about this amazing wireless speaker and a year later...it is still one of my favourites. The sound is really powerful, at maximum volume the Nokia MD-12 will start moving and jumping due to the incredible base. One of the best advantages of this ultra portable speaker is the NFC chip. You can connect your NFC compatible phone with just one touch. It is really simple. The tiny Nokia speaker is really portable and lightweight. You can take it with you everywhere. It is available in different colours (the orange is my favourite).  For less than £25(on Amazon) you can’t go wrong. Let’s get this party started!

Number 2: Logitech X100 Wireless Speaker from £32

The X100 bluetooth speaker by Logitech is an affordable option with good sound quality. At maximum level the Logitech X100 will distort but this is a common feature of any budget portable speaker. But if you don't push it to its limit, you will be happy with the sound quality of this wireless speaker. The Logitech X100 features a line out which means that you can connect your phone, tablet without bluetooth if you wish. It has a lithium battery built in that lasts around 5 hours and a 30ft wireless range which is good for an under £35 speaker. I really like what Logitech has done with the design. Probably one of the best features is the colourful range. Some of the X100's are really beautiful. I am a big fan of the Blue and Orange one! The Logitech X100 is a very nice wireless speaker and most of you will love it.

Number 1: Sony BSP 10 Wireless Speaker from £40

I have already reviewed the outstanding Sony BSP 10 Wireless Speaker. Months later, I still think this is the real deal. The sound quality is incredible, the style is 100% Sony at its best. I love how minimalist this Bluetooth/NFC speaker is. It is ultra portable and I take it every where with me in the house (from the kitchen to the bedroom). The Mic option is very useful too. I use the Sony BSP 10 with Skype and it works perfectly fine. I think Sony has designed and produced the perfect speaker. The addition of wireless charging is another great point in favour of the BSP10. If you have a little bit of extra cash, I definitely recommend you buy the wireless charging plate WCH10, it is without a doubt the most stylish wireless charging solution out there. Honestly, you won't be disappointed with this Sony wireless speaker. A must have in your house if music is an important part of your life.

Once again thank you for reading. Have you noticed the new style of dadmadeinbritain.co.uk? I think that's the definitive one! Enjoy the music and see you soon :)
