Edifier M90 Launches with HDMI eARC, 100W Sound and Hi-Res Audio
Edifier has officially announced the availability of the new Edifier M90, a compact speaker system first unveiled at CES 2026. It is launching first in the US, with other markets following soon, including the UK in April.
The new M90 looks like an interesting option for anyone who wants a speaker setup that does not take over the whole desk or living room, but still promises proper power and modern connectivity. Despite its compact footprint, Edifier says the M90 delivers 100W RMS output, with 4-inch aluminium mid-bass drivers and 1-inch silk-dome tweetersdesigned to produce deeper bass, detailed mids and clear highs.
One of the standout features here is the inclusion of HDMI eARC, which makes the M90 especially appealing for people who want to connect it easily to a TV while keeping sound quality and low latency in check. It also supports Optical, USB-C and AUX, making it flexible enough for desktops, computers and more traditional home entertainment setups.
The M90 is also certified for Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless, with 24-bit/96kHz digital signal processingand Bluetooth 6.0 with LDAC support for high-quality wireless streaming from compatible Android devices. Edifier has also included Bluetooth multipoint, a SUB OUT port for those who want more bass, and app-based sound customisation through the EDIFIER ConneX App.
The Edifier M90 is available in the US from March 25 [check price on Amazon-here].
In the UK, it will be available from April priced at £299.99
For readers looking for a compact but more premium speaker system for a desk, TV setup or smaller room, the Edifier M90 could be one to watch.
