The Acer R13 Chromebook is a beautiful laptop made with premium metal material. It has a Full HD display, great battery life, very nice keyboard, smooth trackpad, touch screen, can be used in 4 different ways and it is compatible with Google Play Store and Android Apps. All this for a little bit more than £300. At this price, the Acer Chromebook R13 is an amazing Chromebook and a great option for your basic computing needs.

Chrome OS has come a long way, and now with full Android apps compatibility, screen split, more Chrome OS apps than ever, the Acer Chromebook R13 is a serious contender.

Final thoughts:

3 years ago I sold my Mac Mini, and decided to go Chromebook all the way. Chrome OS is extremely user friendly, lag free and is perfect for my daily computing needs. The Acer Chromebook R13 is fully compatible with Google Play Store, which means you can download all your favourite Android apps and Games. And as I said on my video, the Android apps are working perfectly well and the experience is lag free. The MediaTek processor is probably not the fastest but honestly with ChromeOS you don't really need the latest Intel i5 processor! With the MediaTek processor and 4GB of RAM my Acer R13, Chromebook is working perfectly fine, and when used in tablet style it becomes a fast Android tablet! Another great bonus of this processor is the fact it is fanless which means no noise or heat! The full HD display is a nice option (it could be brighter though) and speaker sound is loud enough, which makes this convertible laptop a perfect machine for media consumption (Google Play, NEtflix, Hulu, Youtube etc...).
