Review: Alphx Men’s underwear: Brief and Trunk – Soft, Sustainable, and Seriously Comfy

Let’s talk underwear – important topic for daily comfort. Recently, I had the chance to try two pieces from the brand Alphx – their Low Rise Brief and Trunk. If you follow my blog, you know I’m always on the lookout for underwear that’s not just stylish but genuinely comfortable, especially as a 51-year-old man who still wants to look and feel good.
These were sent to me free of charge for review purposes (thank you Alphx), but as always, this review is based on my own experience – unfiltered and honest.
Packaging & First Impressions
First thing I noticed: Alphx keeps it clean, simple, and eco-conscious. The design? Minimalist but masculine. You’re not dealing with flashy prints or gimmicks – just clean lines, a discreet logo on the waistband, and high-quality construction.
The fabric instantly stood out: soft, stretchy, and lightweight. Both the brief and trunk are made from a breathable blend of 56% cotton, 38% modal, and 6% elastane. The result? A fabric that’s incredibly soft on the skin, flexible, and ideal for all-day wear.
Fit and Comfort
Let’s be honest: underwear needs to feel good or it’s not worth it. I usually wear a size M in Calvin Klein, and the Alphx size M fits perfectly.
Lightweight feel (155 GM): Ideal for daily wear, especially during warmer days.
Contoured waistband: No pinching or roll-down, which is honestly such a relief.
Low Rise Brief – Sleek & Sexy
The brief feels stylish, comfortable, and quite frankly, sexy – especially in the white version I received. The pouch is double-lined and contoured, giving great support without flattening or squishing anything.
Now, let me be direct: my manhood is a little bit above average, and the pouch is just about fine for me – a little extra room wouldn’t hurt, but for most guys, it should be absolutely perfect. And I really appreciated the no irritation, even after a full day of wear. Great everyday brief with a refined, sexy twist.
Trunk – Perfect Fit for Daily Wear
If you prefer trunks, you’ll be impressed. These hit that sweet spot: not too long, not too short, with just the right amount of compression to keep everything in place — no awkward bouncing, no adjusting needed.
And this time, the pouch fit is ideal. My “jewels” stayed exactly where they should without being squeezed. I’ve worn them all day and not a single complaint. Comfort is clearly engineered here.
Washing & Durability
After several washes, both pairs still feel soft, stretchy, and hold their shape. No fading, no unraveling, no shrinking. These are well-made, and you can tell. The stitching is solid, and they still look fresh out of the packaging. I didn’t use a tumble dryer though.

Final Verdict
If you're a brief guy, you'll love the Alphx Low Rise Brief – it’s sexy, soft, and supportive. Just double-check the pouch size if you're packing more than average.
If you're more into trunks, I think these are close to perfect. Great for daily wear, gym days, and everything in between. This is exactly what I’d expect from a modern, ethical brand like Alphx: style meets substance.
These two pieces have officially earned a spot in my underwear drawer — and that's saying something. Available at Alphx.com (click here)
