I previously reviewed the first Maxgroom body hair trimmer, and what really stood out to me back then was the value for money. It was not trying to be some ultra-premium grooming tool, but for the price, it offered a lot and did the job surprisingly well.

It is still a versatile grooming kit with removable heads and accessories, but this version feels more refined and better thought out. The biggest upgrade, in my opinion, is the stand. It looks neat in the bathroom, keeps everything more organised, and also works as a charger, which makes the whole package feel more premium and more practical.

How I Tested The Maxgroom Trimmer

I tested the Maxgroom All-In-One Body Hair Trimmer on different areas of my body, including my back, bum, balls and the base of my penis. I also used it for light beard maintenance with one of the included combs. What I wanted to know was simple: was it easy to hold, did the V-shape attachment really make awkward areas easier to trim, and most importantly, could it handle sensitive grooming without causing cuts or irritation? After using it, I was impressed by how comfortable it felt in the hand and how well it performed, especially on hard-to-reach areas.

My Experience with the Maxgroom Body Hair Trimmer

What I noticed straight away is that this new trimmer feels better in the hand. The grip is more comfortable, it is easier to hold, and that matters when you are trimming areas that are not exactly the easiest to reach. It feels more secure, more natural to use, and simply better designed than the previous version.

One of my favourite features here is the V-shape attachment. Honestly, it makes everything easier. I have used it to trim my back and to shave my bum hair, and this is where the design really makes sense. Those areas can be awkward to deal with, but the V-shape head gives better reach and better control, so the whole process feels easier and less fiddly.

I also used it on more sensitive areas, including trimming my balls and around the base of my penis, and I was pleased with how well it performed. That is usually the area where you find out very quickly whether a body groomer is genuinely good or just badly designed. In my case, I did not experience any cuts or irritation, which is exactly what you want from a trimmer like this. The same goes for shaving my bum hair. Again, no cuts, no nasty surprises, and no irritation afterwards. For a body hair trimmer at this price point, that is a very strong result.

Another thing I like about this trimmer is that it is not just for body grooming. Thanks to one of the included combs, I can also use it to trim a short beard, which adds to the versatility. That is always a plus for me because I like grooming tools that can do more than one job without overcomplicating things.

And yes, the nose hair remover is also a bonus. It may not be the most glamorous part of the kit, but let’s be honest, for men as we get older, it becomes a very useful accessory to have. It helps make this feel like a proper all-in-one grooming set rather than just another body trimmer.

Overall, I think this is a solid option. It feels like a genuine step up from the previous version while keeping the same strong value for money. If you are looking for a complete body hair trimmer for your body and balls but do not want to spend a lot of money, this is for sure a serious option to consider. It is IPX6 Waterproof too!
