I’ve had my hands on quite a few Tozo earbuds and headphones recently, and I have to say, the brand keeps surprising me in the best possible ways. Tozo manages to deliver impressive sound quality and genuinely useful features at prices that stay accessible.

With the Tozo NC20, they’ve done it again. These aren’t their flagship earbuds at all , yet the sound quality really caught me off guard in the best way. And with Christmas just around the corner, they might be one of the most interesting budget-friendly gift ideas to consider this year.

Unboxing Experience

When you open up the Tozo NC20 box, the packaging is very much what I’ve come to expect from the brand: simple, minimalist, and perfectly aligned with the price point. No unnecessary extras: just the essentials, neatly presented.

It’s straightforward, clean, and gives you everything you need to get started straight away.

Build Quality

The build quality is honestly a pleasant surprise.
The charging case has a really nice weight to it and feels good in the hand. The dark grey colour I have looks sleek, and the glossy front with the Tozo logo gives it a slightly premium touch. The LED battery indicator on the front is a great addition: simple, but incredibly practical.

Opening and closing the case feels sturdy and smooth. Nothing about it feels cheap.

The only thing worth mentioning is that the magnetic system is very strong. Your earbuds will never fall out accidentally (which is great), but sometimes it takes a bit of effort to pull them out of their slots. Not a deal-breaker, just a point to note.

As for the earbuds themselves, they’re super light, minimalist, and very comfortable. They quickly became the most comfortable earbuds I’ve worn this year, a big win.

The Tozo App (A Must-Download)

The Bluetooth connection to my iPhone was instant and flawless, but downloading the Tozo app genuinely elevates the experience.

It’s surprisingly advanced for this price range. The app is fast, intuitive, and hasn’t crashed once on me, something I can’t say about every earbud app out there.

Sound Quality & User Experience

The overall experience using the NC20 has been fantastic.

Active Noise Cancellation: 9/10

The ANC is genuinely impressive.
It cuts out a great amount of background noise and makes commutes, walks, or even working from home much more pleasant.

Sound Quality: 9/10

Crystal clear, loud when you need it, and very easy to tune thanks to the app.
And Tozo’s Bass Plus acoustic technology really adds depth and richness to the sound: something I wasn’t expecting at this price.

Spatial Audio: 8/10

If you enjoy watching movies or listening to spatial audio tracks on Apple Music, you will love this feature.
It adds a surprising level of immersion that you don’t often see on earbuds under £60/$70.

Comfort: 10/10

As I mentioned earlier: these are, without a doubt, the most comfortable earbuds I’ve tried this year. Perfect for long listening sessions or binge-watching on your phone. Really light and so comfy!

Touch Controls: 9/10

Responsive, accurate, and not overly sensitive. They’ve been consistent every time.

Battery Life: 10/10

For this price, it's simply outstanding. You can easily go days without worrying about charging them.

Conclusion

The Tozo NC20 earbuds deliver exceptional value. From the impressive ANC to the comfort, the sound customisation, the spatial audio, and the massive battery life, they tick far more boxes than you’d expect from a “non-flagship” pair of earbuds.

And with December here and Christmas fast approaching, they make a fantastic gift idea for pretty much anyone: your kids, your spouse, a family member… or even yourself. Thoughtful, practical, and genuinely impressive.
